Meet Asia
Wilson aka ADUBB

ADUBB (Asia Wilson) is a musical artist, producer, & educator homegrown right here in Memphis, TN - Home of the blues and great food. She was able to start her musical journey with the trumpet, which is her primary instrument. ADUBB immersed herself into many musical studies ranging from classical, jazz, funk, and many other styles. Some notable music organizations she attended include Overton High School, Stax Music Academy, & the Memphis Jazz Workshop. 

 

After grade school, ADUBB attended the University of Memphis, where she continued her trumpet studies and gained her Bachelor's of Fine Arts with a concentration in Music Business. During this time and post education, she has been able to gain much knowledge & work experience in playing shows, concerts, being a studio musician, and also working in the education world, where she has much experience in teaching private lessons, master classes, and general school system education.

In college, she was also able to explore her passion for music creation in 2017 - which led her to release some of her first singles throughout her college years. These singles put her on the radar in the Memphis music scene. While tour, she put her focus on finishing up her first EP titled “XOXO”, which was released in May 2023. This project really entails the sound of ADUBB as an artist. With hints of neo-soul, jazz, & hip-hop, ADUBB puts her spin on modern day R&B. She has been able to make numerous performance appearances throughout the city of Memphis. There is much more music to be expected from the artist ADUBB in 2026.
